The True Grit Wetwheels Challenge is taking place on Sunday 18 October – are you up for the challenge? 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Our challenge has been adapted to comply with the latest government guidelines in regard to COVID-19 and we are delighted to share our unique and fundraising challenge with you:

Our challenging 4.3KM course is set in a unique and stunning location, taking runners on a challenging adventure through the Ronez Limited Quarry site on Jerseyâ rugged North coast. Numbers will be capped to ensure that the event complies with the latest Government of Jerseyâ Level 1 guidelines.

The physical route involves tough terrain, loose gravel and challenging climbs. Runners will make their way down into the ‘The Pit’ 28 metres below sea level before navigating their way back out around the gigantic Ronez machinery and equipment to reach the panoramic views of the north coast of Jersey at the finish. The course elevation total is 130m!

Our challenge has been created to raise funds and awareness for the local charity, Wetwheels Jersey Wetwheels Jersey provides the opportunity for all disabled people, including those with profound and complex disabilities, to access the sea in a safe, stimulating and rewarding way on board specially built, fully accessible powerboats.
