Chatham River Experience

With the kind support of The Chatham Maritime Trust, we are returning to Chatham Marina for a long weekend, Friday 16th August to Monday 19th August 2024.

These experiences are running twice daily at 10:30 and 14:00.

On this experience, you will join us on a voyage of Maritime adventure. Setting sail from Chatham Maritime Marina, we depart through their Sea Lock out onto the River Medway. Firstly we will head up river to view The Historic Dockyards from the water, before we turn around and head back out towards the estuary.

We will pass Upnor Castle, which is run by The English Heritage and is a rare example of an Elizabethan artillery fort.

We will then proceed further down river, passing Hoo Island and Darnet Ness entering the Estuary where we can pick up some speed before returning to the Marina to end our adventure.

This experience is an hour and half to two hours.
