Chatham River Experience

With the kind support of The Chatham Maritime Trust, we are returning to Chatham Marina twice in 2025.
We will be in Chatham, Friday 9th May to Sunday 11th May and then returning Thursday 18th September to Sunday 21st September.
On this experience, you will join us on a voyage of Maritime adventure. Setting sail from Chatham Maritime Marina, we depart through their Sea Lock out onto the River Medway. Firstly we will head up river to view The Historic Dockyards from the water, before we turn around and head back out towards the estuary.
We will pass Upnor Castle, which is run by The English Heritage and is a rare example of an Elizabethan artillery fort.
We will then proceed further down river, passing Hoo Island and Darnet Ness entering the Estuary where we can pick up some speed before returning to the Marina to end our adventure.
This experience is an hour and half to two hours.
