Launched in 2016, Wetwheels Hamble became the third regional operator for the national disability power boating charity Wetwheels Foundation. It is community interest company no. 09489053.

Wetwheels Hamble has her home at MDL's Mercury Yacht Harbour in Hamble, so is perfectly positioned to operate across the Southampton region, the Isle of Wight and the South Coast.

The Wetwheels experience is designed to enable every disabled person the chance to experience the excitement of power boating. Wetwheels boats are truly unique by being fully accessible - not just giving you the chance to be a passenger, but also to take the helm as the skipper - everybody gets the chance to drive!

We depend on the goodwill of our wonderfully experienced volunteers and generous donors to bring Wetwheels to you. If you would like to be part of a Wetwheels experience, it doesn't matter if you're young or old; Just get in touch with Suez in the office to arrange your visit.

The Wetwheels team look forward to welcoming you aboard.

    Talk Like A Pirate Weekend

    Ahoy there me hearties!
It’s time for Mercury Yacht Harbour and Holiday Park, and Hamble River Discover Hamble to batten down their hatches because the Wetwheels Pirates are coming! Ahaaaaaaargh!
It’s double the trouble too! We sent a message in a bottle asking for help, it made it to Portsmouth and we are delighted to announce that Wetwheels Solent found it and will be joining us for a weekend full of pirating pranks in honour of International Talk Like a Pirate Day

These swashbuckling adventures are thanks to the support of Zurich Community Trust
We are looking out for scallywags to wheel or walk the plank and get on board to keep an eye out for other pirates out on the river (especially River Hamble Harbour Master) before hitting the high seas in a hunt for Treasure! Don’t forget to dress up as a pirate or draw us a treasure map or picture!

Our motley crew will be regularly swabbing the deck to offer COVID friendly trips for children of all disabilities, their families and carers. They will be running on September 19th and 20th at 10.00, 11.30, 13.15 and 15.00. Max 6 on board each boat at a time from a maximum of two households. To book your places from £15 a head, call Suez in 07733 944321 or email office@wetwheelshamble.co.uk

We are actively seeking, volunteers, pirate fancy dress, water pistols, parrots and all things pirate to make the weekend extra special for all! Can you help?
