Building for the future

Leading from our recent event with HRH The Princess Royal, we are delighted to announce our next target locations - Wetwheels Cymru and Wetwheels East. 

The precise home ports are yet to be identified, but we will be working with local communities, supporters and participants in early 2023. We do know this will be a key step to ensuring many more people can access the water barrier-free. We aspire to have the boats in place by 2025.26.

We will require support and funding for both - and that hard work starts now. As with our recent new locations in Edinburgh (early 2023) and Torbay (early 2024), we have proven that our supporters share are commitment to reaching more disabled people, often with the most complex disabilities, and to achieve what can initially seem like impossible dreams. We know Wetwheels changes lives.
