Donation - The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation

The Wetwheels Foundation is delighted to announce the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation has kindly donated £15,000 to support our work ensuring barrier-free boating for disabled and disadvantaged people.

Sir Stelios Haji-loannou shared the wonderful news with founder Geoff Holt MBE DL and colleagues at a meeting in London, kindly hosted by The Foundation.

Wetwheels offers a unique opportunity for disabled people of all ages - including those with multiple, profound and complex impairments - to access the water. Perceived barriers are reassessed, new skills are learned and new-found independence is discovered.

Pictured are Geoff and Donald Manasse, Trustee of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. It was a lovely opportunity to share experiences, ideas and a positive vision for the future after an incredibly challenging 18 months for so many in our communities.
