Port of Dover Community Fund continues to Support Wetwheels South East

We are thrilled to announce that The Port of Dover Community Fund are continuing to support Wetwheels South East with a grant of £10,000!

Thanks to generous support of The Port of Dover Community Fund, administered by Kent Community Foundation, we will be fully rewiring and upgrading the electronics on the boat.

This will allow participants to explore the local environment using augmented reality meaning our participant will be able to explore and understand the sunken history beneath the waves. Taking disabled participants to the underwater world without having to leave the boat, leaving their disabilities at the dockside.

It wil also ensures the reliability and service of the Wetwheels South East boat for the next 5 years, so many more people can enjoy the thrill of the ocean waves, both new participants and returning ones on their barrier free boating experience.
