Successful Accessible weekend

What a fabulous event, thank you to everyone who made our barrier-free weekend at Gunwharf Quays such a success.

Opened by sailing legend Sir Robin Knox Johnston and working with our friends at Disabled Sailors Association, collectively we took nearly 100 local disabled people and their families on the water to see Portsmouth historic harbour and out into the Solent for sailing and powerboating experiences. Thanks also to the Shanty Buoys for getting us all singing .. !

Despite the rain on Sunday, our local MP, Stephen Morgan MP popped along to show his support for the work we are doing. We are now planning for 2023..! For everyone unable to make it, you can still book a trip on Wetwheels - see you soon this summer.
