Wetwheels South East Story Writing Competition

Launching our writing competition!

Wetwheels South East has teamed up with local author, Lucy Strange and are inviting all children to participate in our writing competition. Lucy's book "Our Castle by the Sea" is based around Dover and we are asking the children to base their pieces around this theme.

There are 5 categories;

• Reception to Year 3
• Year 4 to Year 6
• Year 7 to Year 8
• Year 9 to Year 10
• Year 11 to Year 13

All entries to be in via this link by midnight on 15th July 2022.

There is a recommended donation per entry of £2, this will be placed into the WWSE Barrier-free Fund. Please donate here

We will then be inviting all winners and guardians onto a special winners trip on 9th August, where Lucy will read excerpts from her book as we sail to the relevant areas on our coast.

Please help promote this by mentioning it to friends and family or to your local schools and library.
