Wetwheels Jersey

Serving Jersey and the channel islands

Jump to section:

Launched in September 2013, Wetwheels Jersey became the second regional operator for the national disability power boating charity Wetwheels Foundation. It is registered in Jersey as company number 112084 and registered Jersey Charity number 338.

Wetwheels Jersey is perfectly positioned to operate across the Channel Islands.

The Wetwheels experience is designed to enable every disabled person the chance to experience the excitement of power boating. Wetwheels boats are truly unique by being fully accessible – not just giving you the chance to be a passenger, but also to take the helm as the skipper – everybody gets the chance to drive!

We depend on the goodwill of our wonderfully experienced volunteers and generous donors to bring Wetwheels to you. If you would like to be part of a Wetwheels experience, it doesn’t matter if you’re young or old; Just get in touch with Dina in the office to arrange your visit.

The Wetwheels team look forward to welcoming you aboard. You can find our online booking form here.

Jersey Dolphin spotting

This trip takes a very similar route to the South Coast Cruise, however, we keep in touch with the local boating community and will head to wherever dolphins have been last spotted, along the South coast. Occasionally this will take us East towards Gorey, where once again the Jersey coastline can be admired from a different viewpoint. This trip will

Jersey Fishing

We mainly fish with feathers for Mackerel and have all the equipment needed onboard. Heading just off Noirmont Point we will first try our luck at catching fish here. We aim to have an experienced fisher on board as crew to head us to the best spots for the duration of the trip. All fish are gutted on board by

Jersey Outer reefs

On occasion we will venture to Les Ecrehous or Les Minquieres. Trips to the outer reefs take a minimum of four hours and as there are no toilet facilities onboard they are not suitable for everyone. In order to go on to the reefs you have to transfer into a dinghy, once again not making it possible for everyone. For

Jersey Private Hire

We operate approximately 10 private trips a year, in which for a fee you can hire Wetwheels for either a two hour trip or an outer reef experience. Maximum 10 passengers including up to three wheelchair users. For more details and in order to book one of these trips please email Dina on dina@wetwheels.je

Jersey South Coast Cruise

Departing from La Collette, we first head in to St Aubin’s Bay where an alternative view of Elizabeth Castle and St Aubin’s Fort can be enjoyed. From there we head around Noirmont Point and into Portlet Bay, moving further along the coast past Ouaisne Bay and into St Brelade’s Bay and Beauport taking in the sights of the wonderful coastline

A big thank you also to our sponsors Ravenscroft Group and Seapower Marine, without their support we would not be able to hold the event. Also a big thank you to the marshalls for ensuring everyones safety on the day. And of course a BIG BIG thank you to everyone who took part on the challenge. You Rock!

The event raised just over £10k
